Welcome to Pondok Tuna - Green Lake City, a delightful Manado restaurant nestled in the vibrant Rukan Crown area of Tangerang City, Indonesia. Known for its exquisite seafood, this culinary gem specializes in fresh tuna dishes that transport your taste buds straight to the coastal delights of Manado.
Upon entering, you're embraced by a comfortable ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. As one patron, Mr. Oktavianus, noted, the Rahang Tuna, served with brown rice and water spinach, is a standout offering. This dish showcases the restaurant's commitment to freshness, although, as he mentioned, the tuna retains a hint of its oceanic origins. However, it is the accompanying sambal dabu-dabu that truly elevates the flavors, making each bite a rich journey through spicy zest and aromatic profiles.
For those who appreciate the perfect grilling, the restaurant’s dada tuna or tuna loin is a must-try, excellently cooked to achieve a tender, moist interior contrasted with a delightful charred exterior. As Irving E. recommends, pairing it with the house special sambal rica provides the perfect spicy garlic hit that complements the fish beautifully.
Pondok Tuna also prides itself on versatility, offering a diverse menu that caters to families seeking both lunch and dinner options. Diners like Hieronimus have lauded it as a comfortable spot to relish spicy fish and black squid, while Ruddy KOJONGIAN raves about the deliciousness and variety that make it a “must visit.”
If you have a penchant for crispy textures, don’t miss their corn fritters, which provide an excellent contrast to the main seafood offerings. The reviews are consistent; the food is not just tasty but also beautifully presented.
In essence, Pondok Tuna - Green Lake City isn’t just about good food; it's an experience that echoes the rich culinary traditions of Manado. With its legendary roots and a commitment to quality, this restaurant is a culinary destination worth exploring again and again. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by and indulge in the mouthwatering seafood that awaits.

They sold Manado dishes and tuna was one of their best seller. Since I was craving for sea fish meat, I tried their Rahang Tuna with brown rice and water spinach. Tuna still smelled fishy, but still enjoyable. Their sambal dabu2 enriched the flavors. Services were pretty good too. Will visit again to try another menu here.

A branch of the legendary Pondok Tuna in Manado, they bring all their seafood from there, you can expect to get some real good stuff here. The sambal rica is amazing, it’s spicy with a great hit of garlic, pairs really well with the fresh sambal dabu-dabu. Highly recommend the dada tuna (tuna loin) and rahang tuna (tuna collar). Get them grilled / bakar, the cook on those are perfect, moist inside, charred outside

delicious manadonese food. will return to try other menus. the red bean ice is too sweet, the chocolate milk is dominating rather than the red bean.

The rahang tuna was delicious but a bit pricey, because the size is quite small, the sambal dabu dabu and sambal rica was great

Accidentally found this place. One of Manadonese restaurant that served Nike Fish, Cui Orange... Some people might think that their price is quite pricey but mostly Manadonese dish is pricey at Jakarta hehe I tried their Friend Banana with Sambal Roa, Cui Orange Juice and Brenebon
